Born in Burnley but live in sunny Manchester
The first horse i ever backed was in 1974 the horse Quizair in the Lincoln at Doncaster, trained by Ryan Jarvis ridden by Taffy Thomas at odds of 28/1
I had no intentions of having a bet that day but my brother asked me if I wanted to go half with him and when it won I was hooked…thanks our kid
I have been interested in horse racing for over forty years but now have more of an interest in the breeding aspect of horses this gives you an extra angle when selecting horses before they run, no one can be an expert in every field of horse racing you have to specialize in maybe a couple of aspects such as five furlong horses or maybe staying horses
How are you getting on this season?
